AMT

AMT (Auto Modeling Tool) is a personal project created with the intention of pushing the boundaries of 3D footwear modeling, utilizing algorithms and computational design in Houdini. The main idea behind this prototype is to have a computer algorithm modeling different footwear designs with little human input. Using a basic shoe last and a simplified sole model as the inputs for the code, the algorithm generates intricate forms that can be used as exploration or even as the final footwear design.
